GelShot Debuts to American Occupational Therapy Association

GelShot Therapeutic Ultrasound Coupling Discs made their first appearance to the occupational therapy market at the American Occupational Therapy Association's (AOTA) Annual Conference & Expo in Chicago, IL.

Attendees who gathered to hear about GelShot learned not only about how GelShot doesn't leave the icky mess associated with ultrasound gel, nor does it require the extensive cleanup. Other notes included how GelShot achieves more efficient treatment compared to the traditional ultrasound gels available on the market, and how GelShot can be incorporated as a step toward infection prevention in their practice.

Using a single bulk gel container to refill bottles used all over a clinic creates an opportunity for an infection breakout throughout a clinic's patients, should that container become compromised with a bacterial contaminate. This is not the case with GelShot. With each GelShot disc being individually sealed, and then disposed of after treatment, this sort of cross contamination is impossible.

GelShot was one of the state-of-art products on display at the conference, the world's largest gathering of occupational therapy practitioners and students, with attendance estimated at 10,000.
